The complete system

Everything a Punjab restaurant needs to sell legally

Most POS systems bolt compliance on later. Nyxt was designed around the e-IMS rules from day one — so compliance is just what happens when your cashier taps Confirm.

01

Automatic fiscalization

Every confirmed bill goes to PRA and comes back with an official invoice number and QR code — no extra taps, no separate device workflow for your cashiers.

02

Payment-mode tax engine

Punjab charges 16% on cash and 8% on card. Nyxt calculates tax only after the customer commits to a payment method — a last-second switch never produces a wrong receipt.

03

Split bills done right

Four friends, four payment methods, four fiscal invoices — each at its own rate. Guests can change their mind freely until the cashier confirms.

04

Inventory with live stock

Add and retire menu items in seconds. Track stock on the items that need it — the POS shows what is running low and refuses to oversell.

05

Reports your accountant will love

Gross sales, tax collected, cash-vs-card mix, top items, any date range, every invoice with its PRA number — the monthly return stops being a scavenger hunt.

06

Outage-proof by design

If the connection to the fiscal device drops, sales keep completing and queue safely. The moment it returns, every pending bill fiscalizes automatically.

07

A POS cashiers actually like

Big touch targets, a menu grid built for dinner rush, and a cart that never fights back. New staff are taking orders in their first shift.

08

Multi-branch, one login

Every branch runs its own tills under one account. Head office sees sales, tax, and agent status across locations from a single dashboard.

09

Bridge agent at the counter

A tiny Windows service relays fiscalization jobs from the cloud to the PRA fiscal device at your till — installed once, then it just runs.

Under the hood

What happens when your cashier taps Confirm

01

The sale is saved first

The bill and its line items are written to the database before anything else. A tax-server hiccup can never lose a sale or stop your dinner rush.

02

PRA gets the invoice

The bill reaches the PRA fiscal device at your counter within seconds and returns an official invoice number — printed on the receipt with a verification QR.

03

Your books stay ready

Every invoice, rate, and rupee of tax is recorded against its PRA number. When the 15th of the month comes, the return figures are one click away.

The detail everyone else gets wrong

Punjab's tax rate depends on how the customer pays — 16% cash, 8% card. Nyxt calculates tax only after the payment method is committed, so a last-second switch at the card machine never produces a wrong receipt.

FAQ

Questions restaurant owners ask

Is Nyxt POS compliant with PRA e-IMS?

Nyxt is built around the e-IMS integration model: every bill is fiscalized through the PRA Software Fiscal Device registered to your till, and receipts carry the official invoice number and verification QR. During onboarding we walk you through PRA registration and run the sandbox tests with you before going live.

What happens if my internet goes down during dinner rush?

You keep selling. Orders and bills complete locally and fiscalization jobs queue safely; the moment the connection returns, every queued bill fiscalizes automatically. Your staff never see an error screen mid-service.

How does the 16% cash / 8% card rule work?

Punjab taxes restaurant bills at 16% when paid in cash and 8% when paid by card or wallet. Nyxt calculates the tax only after the payment method is confirmed, so the receipt is always right — even when the customer switches from cash to card at the last second.

Can customers split the bill?

Yes — up to six ways, with items assigned per guest and each guest choosing their own payment method. Each split becomes its own fiscal invoice at its own tax rate, which is exactly what the rules require.

What do I need to get started?

An NTN, PRA registration for your restaurant (we guide you through it — typically 1–3 weeks on PRA's side), a till or tablet with a browser, and a thermal printer. We handle the software end to end.
